Tears of Guthix

Difficulty level: Medium, Members only

Skills Needed: 20 Crafting (see notes at the bottom), 49 Firemaking, 20 Mining, 43+ QP

Reward: 1 Quest Point, 1k Crafting Experience, Tears of Guthix Mini-Game Admittance

Items Needed: Spiney Helmet, Cut Sapphire, Bullseye Lantern (without lense), Chisel, Pickaxe, Tinderbox, Swamp Tar, Rope

Quests needed: 

EQT (Estimated Quest Time): 8 Minutes

Starting Location: Lumbridge Swamp Speak to Juna

1. Gather the supplies you need for the quest which are listed above.

2. Use your cut sapphire with the bullseye lantern to make a sapphire lantern.

3. You must make oil for your lantern so get swamp tar from the LumbridgeSwamp and take it to the chemist in Rimmington. After you get the oil in the lamp light it with your tinderbox.

4. Proceed to the lumbridge swamp taking the above items when you get inside the whole (use your rope with the hole) follow the right path until you see crossing stones. Cross the stones and follow the path until you see a wall which you must climb down.

5. Talk to Juna to start the quest, she will tell you to tell her a story, tell her one and she will allow you to use the Guthix Tears area after you mine the ore and craft it into a stone bowl.

6. Right click on your Sapphire lantern (NOT CLICK!) and use it with the Light Creatures, next mine one ore and craft it into the stone bowl with your chisel.

7. Use your lantern with the Light Creature again and go back to Juna. Tell her another story and she will allow you to get the Tears of Guthix.

Notes:

• You may only use the Mini-Game once every 6 days. The Mini-Game gives you experience in your lowest level skill.
• Runescape (in game) says you need 20 crafting - it's because you can buy bulls eye lantern with the lens. To make it yourself you need level 49.

How to make a Bullseye Lantern

Materials needed: Molten glass (seaweed and a bucket of sand, used on a furnace),glassblowing pipe, steel bar, hammer, swamp tar, tinderbox.

Use your pipe on the molten glass to make a Bullseye lantern Lens (Requires 49 crafting). Now use your steel bar on an anvil and make a Bullseye Lantern (Frame, Requires 49 Smithing). Next use the lens with the frame and go to Lumbridge Swamps and get some Swamp Tar. Take this tothe Chemist west of Rimmington. Speak with him about the lanterns and he will say he has a stillyou can use to make oil. Use your Swamp Tar on the still (its on a table in his house), and thenuse your Bullseye Lantern on the still too. You will get a bullseye lantern. Too light it, use yourtinderbox on it (requires 49 Firemaking).

Tears of Guthix minigame

Talk to Juna to get your bowl and begin the minigame. You need to collect as much water with the bowl in 90 seconds as possible, collecting 1 water per second. You will get +1water when you click on a blue stream and -1 water from a green stream. You can play this (ONLY ONCE A WEEK) to gain experience towards your lowest skill. Additionallyyou must get either 100k exp or 1 quest point or you will not be allowed to play the mini game.
